Chris & John welcome you to their friendly family run guest house, which faces south with panoramic views of Ilfracombe. The Avoncourt is situated on a private road which is part of the South West Coastal Path, which leads to the beautiful Torrs. The excellent food, beautiful gardens and relaxed atmosphere will make your holiday a memorable one.

You are offered the warmest of welcomes to Ilfracombe which is at the heart of the beautiful North Devon Coast.

We are one of the few modern guest houses in this magnificent resort and are situated on a private road where you are not disturbed by passing traffic and we have ample private parking. The building faces south with spectacular views of the town and surrounding country.

The South West Coastal Path runs right past the front door. Turn right and you have stunning walks along the cliffs and National Trust land. Turn left and you are only a few minutes walk from the famous Tunnels Beaches and their safe bathing and fascinating rock pools, the harbour and sea front or the bustling town centre.

The Avoncourt offers a high level of accommodation. All rooms are en-suite and have all the comforts of home.

There is as much privacy as you want but there is also the opportunity to make new friends in our cosy bar or relaxing T V lounge.
There is plenty of good food, with an excellent menu and special diets are catered for.
